No — most of what we host is open to anyone. Workshops, talks, exhibitions by local artists and the aperitivo are all open-door, and a good number of the people who come have never had a desk here. Some events have limited places, in which case the listing says so and how to claim one. The FICOmmunity WhatsApp group hears about everything first, and joining it does not require a plan either.

Yes. When the desks empty the room becomes a venue, and we host workshops, launches, offsites, talks, exhibitions and private gatherings — three minutes from the sunset at Las Canteras. There is no fixed price list, because a weekday evening for twelve people and a full Saturday with catering are not the same thing. Tell us the date, the rough headcount and what you have in mind, and we will quote it.

A bright, single room with a flexible layout — the desks move, so the same space works as rows for a talk or tables for a workshop. There is a projector for slides and anything else you need on a screen, 10 Gb wifi on two lines, professional coffee equipment and a kitchenette, and a soundproof booth if a speaker needs a quiet minute. It seats a comfortable small crowd rather than a conference; the room is a room, not a hall, which is what makes it good for the things people actually run here.

Regularly, but not to a rigid calendar — it depends on what the community is up to. Community breakfasts, networking evenings, workshops and the aperitivo are the recurring ones, alongside exhibitions from local artists and whatever members organise themselves: dinners, weekend hikes, surf sessions and island road trips. Everything public is on this page as soon as it is scheduled.
